USA: Los Angeles & New York

Tiredness and fun....

sunny 28 °C

Well, we have arrived in the big old US of A, have been here for about 3 days so far....and having a great time, especially with the weather which has been amazing. We think its about 30+ degrees here in New York at the moment, its great.
Spend the first day in LA, took 3 trains into Hollywood and have a walk around, saw the sights and took some photos.....Kim got nose bleed number 1 while sitting down having lunch at a Mexican place...not good.
Got to New York tired and dirty and in desperate need of a shower, wearing the same clothes for 3+ days is not recommended. That shower when we finally got to the hostel was probably the best one ive ever had!
We have been cruising around NYC, seeing some pretty cool stuff. We are staying in Chelsea, which is a cool part of the city, though it didn't take us long to come to the conclusing that most hot guys down here (there are heaps).....shall we say bat for the other team?

That reminds me, i was going to cheak on wikipedia if Chelsea is known as a gay neighbourhood or not, something tells my yes....oh well.

our room at the hostel is cool, we have our own room, which Kass and i are going to appreciate cause its probably the only time its going to happen on the entire trip.....gutted for dorms....
the bathroom and shower are right outside our door, sounds bad, but its not nosy and very convienient, can just scoot across the floor in a towel....

what else??? not much,......we are now total pros at using subways, both here and back in LA.....we are zooming all around the place....went down to the financial district today (lower Manhattan) and saw Ground Zero, still a massive big hole, didn't look all that different from when i was last here two years ago, though they have finished the metro train station, which took them ages. its very pretty.

went on the staten island ferry, which was cool, and free. have done a spot of shopping, bought a couple of dresses, i'm pretty stoked with them. ...next buy is a hat and some new shoes....we are going up the empire state building tomorrow, and having a look around the UN building....

anyway, cant write too much.
Until next time!
